The ultimate in luxury & opulence at Delaire Graff Estate
EXPANDING THE UPPER ECHELON OF LUXURY
A stunning extension of the Graff brand, Delaire Graff Estate is delighted to announce the opening of six Superior Lodges and a breathtaking Owner’s Villa. Positioned at the pinnacle of the luxury jewellery industry, the Lodges and Villa echo the House’s expertise in crafting jewels of unparalleled rarity and unrivalled beauty. The height of luxury living in South Africa, every little detail has been painstakingly considered to create an ambience of absolute luxury and serenity. “The new Villa and Lodges have been a very personal project for me, and it is wonderful to see our vision become a reality,” says Laurence Graff, Chairman of Graff. “There really is nowhere else in South Africa where you can experience this level of luxury and we are delighted that we can finally share these exceptional gems with our guests.”
THE ULTIMATE RETREATS
Offering complete privacy, the 660m2 Villa, which accommodates up to eight guests, promises to be the jewel in the crown of Delaire Graff Estate when it opens in July 2019. Seamlessly blending into the landscape, from a distance it appears as if the Villa is floating above the vineyards below. Floor-to-ceiling picture windows frame the panoramic views, which can also be enjoyed from the private outdoor terrace, with a generous 14m swimming pool.
Spacious sanctuaries in which to relax and unwind, the 76m2 Superior Lodges capture the warm and welcoming spirit of South Africa. The new lodges face north-west and are positioned to make the most of the mountain views. Designed to accommodate two guests, the double-height living area looks out over a tranquil outdoor terrace, where the spectacular views can be admired whilst taking a dip in the heated plunge pool or relaxing on a sun lounger.
Designed and curated by David Collins Studio, the Owner’s Villa and Superior Lodges incorporate bespoke materials and soft furnishings throughout. The design team opted for texture, softness, subtle African motifs and the feeling that everything was hand-worked. Evolving the Studio’s original design vocabulary, inspiration for the interiors came from African colour palettes and patterns, married with European touches.
Adorning the walls are original artworks by new and established African artists, personally chosen by Laurence Graff from his private collection. David Collins Studio’s Creative Director, Simon Rawlings, says: “The Villa and Lodges have been carefully finished with textures and tones to create timeless, detailed interiors. Every detail feels uniquely Delaire.” With two flagship restaurants, award-winning vintages from the Estate’s winery, art on display from Laurence Graff’s personal collection, indigenous gardens, luxury boutiques and one of the finest spas in South Africa, Delaire Graff Estate is already regarded as the Jewel of the Cape Winelands
